Karima Multi Company Limited on Monday commissioned a school to add to its group of companies at Asabi in the Mampong Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The school was established to compliment the Ghana’s vision on education using quality education delivery to accelerate the Nation’s socio-economic development.
It was in this line that, the Management of Karima Multi Company Limited thought it was necessary to bring into existence the Karima Educational Complex by engaging school going age in the Asabi, Sawaba, Aboabo, Boukrom, Asakore Mampong, Sepe, Sepe Doti, Duase, Pakusu, Asewasi, Dichemso, Airport Roundabout Akwatia-Line, New Zongo, Kantudu, Buoban catchment areas to contribute our quota to national development in the areas of education.
So far, the school has admitted its first batch of pupils and classes is ongoing smoothly.
Speaking to a gathering at the Mini Commissioning of the school complex, Mr Mohammed Osman the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Karima Multi Company Limited indicated that it was a dream comes through since establishing a school was part of his worldly agendum.
He said the overall goal of Karima Educational Complex is to provide relevant and quality education for all especially the disadvantaged to enable them acquire the needed skills.
He noted that, the school will make the pupils’ functional literate and productive to facilitate poverty alleviation and promote the rapid socio-economic growth of the Nation.
Mr Osman reiterated the vision of Karima Educational Complex was to administer the convergence of education to promote a suitable national maturity process within global surroundings and also aid the development of education, driven by derived technical innovations to enhance the encouragement of economic competitiveness.
The Chairman of the occasion, Professor Mohammed Lukman, a retired educationist lauded the CEO of Karima Multi Company Limited for taken such a bold step and promised to assist when the need arises in line of technical advice.
